The next screening of The Summer Help since being named a “must-see film” and “Best of Fest” at MSPIFF will be in Chicago at the Gene Siskel Film Center on Saturday, May 14th, 2016.  Join us and find out more about who is cleaning your hotel room while you are on your summer vacation.

Director Melody Gilbert will be there along with at least one of the students who are “the summer help.” In addition, The Summer Help will be preceded by Life Through The Lens (2014, Igor Myakotin, Bulgaria, 7 min.) made by one of Gilbert’s students from the American University in Bulgaria. In the short, a young photographer experiences his city through the lens of his dad’s vintage camera.
